Computer Scientist

I am a computer scientist. I don’t have much formal training in finance/investing. Over the years, I put in much effort and slowly understood the fundamental concepts underlying finance/investing. I found that there’s a significant overlap between these concepts and the ones we learned in school/college math classes — fractions and percentages, exponential growth and geometric sequences, probability and random variables, etc. Now, I want to make it easier for others to learn these same concepts, so they can make better financial decisions in their lives. So far, my strategy has been to pick a concept each week and to write a Twitter thread exploring it in detail. I try to keep my writing simple, clear, and jargon-free.
